- Provides strategic oversight of loan and lease portfolio accounting processes and systems to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established policies.
- Directs the operation, maintenance, and validation of the system of record (Aspire), ensuring accuracy through supervisory review and established controls.
- Establishes review protocols and delegates verification tasks to ensure completeness and accuracy of lease data prior to booking.
- Oversees reconciliation processes between Aspire and Prologue, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Supervises the property tax and sales/use tax process, ensuring compliance and accuracy through policy enforcement.
- Develops, implements, and enforces formal accounting policies, procedures, and guidelines to support organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Provides leadership and accountability for loan and lease activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements through effective team management.
What you Bring:
- 10+ years of finance & accounting and franchise development.
- 2 years experience in managing and supervising team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and oversight for complex operational and accounting functions.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment in matters of policy, compliance, and resource allocation.
- Expertise in interpreting and applying GAAP and banking regulations to ensure organizational compliance and operational integrity.
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple functional areas.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex financial and operational issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate with senior leadership and drive process improvements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting equivalent.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
