Employee Volunteerism

Our employees are encouraged to volunteer, and they have recorded over 1,000 hours of paid volunteer time off in the past year. This demonstrates our dedication to making a positive impact through hands-on involvement in community projects and initiatives.

Volunteer activities include financial literacy training, assembling packages that provide disaster relief assistance to people worldwide, sorting, packaging and distributing diapers to low-income families, and providing physical labor for moving and improving the facilities of not-for-profit charities.

Community Development Bankers and Financial Literacy

We have Community Development Bankers who partner with local organizations to help residents build trust and financial literacy, and gain access to housing. By collaborating with these organizations, we aim to support economic opportunities for low- to moderate-income individuals and communities.

Economic Opportunity and Educational Support
CNB provides loans for low- to moderate-income buyers and supports local schools by teaching children financial literacy. We are dedicated to bolstering economic opportunities in our community to ensure everyone has the chance to succeed.

Investment in Community Development
The bank has made significant investments in community development, with $1.4 billion in community development loans from 2021 through 2024.
City National Bank of Florida has received a Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) rating of “Outstanding” by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for 24 consecutive years.

United Way Partnership
Over the past eleven years, we’ve raised more than $15 million for United Way.
This includes 2024’s CNB employees’ pledges of more than $407,000 to United Way, and a corporate gift of $100,000.
This partnership exemplifies our commitment to giving back and supporting vital community services.
