Overview:

The Insurance Leader will be part of the Product and Services segment of CNB and will independently work with lines of businesses at CNB to drive new insurance sales opportunities for existing and prospecting clients that require either business or personal insurance. This role includes contributing to policy and procedure development, refining processes, and overseeing administrative functions to enhance operational effectiveness, demonstrating significant autonomy, judgment, and discretion in operational decisions. This leader will not only work internally to train and drive awareness of the product but also work closely with our insurance broker partner to transfer opportunities to the broker to provide insurance advisory solutions to the client.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate a predetermined volume of new business annually, meeting specified quality standards.
  • Complete detailed applications, including necessary data input, adapting to variations in support staff availability.
  • Independently prepare proposals and conduct professional presentations for potential clients.
  • Ensure compliance with sales pipeline data requirements, maintaining accurate records and forecasts.
  • Develop comprehensive coverage recommendations based on thorough exposure analyses for prospective clients.
  • Establish payment arrangements according to agency policies and procedures.
  • Direct clients to appropriate service personnel for prompt resolution of inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with carriers to manage underwriting information and facilitate risk acceptance processes.
  • Maintain strict adherence to deadlines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
  • Proactively mitigate errors and omissions exposures through diligent review and quality assurance.
  • Uphold active insurance licenses and continually enhance industry knowledge beyond minimum educational requirements.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience in insurance, primarily in P&C, as a producer and/or agency executive.
  • Knowledgable on Coverages/Carrier Relationships/Florida Insurance Market/Agency Management systems/Sales/Outsourcing Servicing firms.
  • Knowledgable on Commercial and Consumer Banking sales activities of prospecting and retaining clients. 
  • Strong understanding of insurance products (property/casualty/employee benefits and life), underwriting processes, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Possession of relevant insurance licenses and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
