Integration Engineer Senior
The Integration Engineer Senior will clarify complex business integration requirements, participate and contribute to the design, implementation and development of Integration process for different operating systems. Develop and execute complementary unit tests, analyze the development of logical and physical specifications, identify, communicate, debug, and resolve technical defects, and assist with implementing optimization flows and orchestrations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements solutions integrating applications across the enterprise or its units/departments.
- Evaluates existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meets organizational needs.
- Requires Java, XML/SOAP, AngularJS, MuleSoft, JSON, SQL, Maven, HTML/CSS, Rest API’s, Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, others.
- Works on projects/matters of high complexity in a lead and/or support role
- Work with software development team to integrate functionality and verify features, bug fixes
- Develop tools for CI/CD, code analysis and conduct informal and formal testing
- Develop tools to streamline and automate regression tests and result reporting for hardware-in-the-loop systems
- Root cause, track and verify fixes for issues throughout full software development lifecycle
- Work with design control to update requirements, specifications, and trace for full test coverage
- Work with cross functional teams: test, build and release & DevOps
- Support the continuous improvement of integration and testing processes, procedures, applications and tools.
- 8-12 years of industry experience with a minimum of 10+ years of experience developing on the Java Platform. 8+ years of experience developing MuleSoftand full lifecycle implementation of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Management and Messaging.
- 3-5 years in using Azure, Azure CLI, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Shell scripting and Azure DevOps.
- Experience of integrating computer programs. For example, Oracle, SQLServer, and Java (or all three)
- Ability to Automate the provisioning of environments using Terraform in Cloud/Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain code repositories with Git.
- Solid understanding of deploying and operating Linux variants in a containerized Cloud environment.
- Must be knowledgeable in administration tasks of managing Docker images, container networking and standard infrastructure maintenance tasks on Docker and Kubernetes platform.
- Considerable experience in implementing RBAC Security.
- Support 24x7 Model and be available to support rotational on-call work (including Saturday/Sunday).
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
- Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
- Willingness to learn new technologies/tools and train your peers.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Proven track record to automate.
- Certified MulesoftDeveloper - Integration and API Associate, or similar, and/or Certified Java Developer is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field.
