Platform Solutions Specialist, LOS & SFDC
The Platform Solutions Specialist drives the design, development, and implementation end to end Loan Origination Solutions within our organization. This role requires extensive experience with Salesforce and nCino, strong technical expertise in automations (Flows, OmniStudio, and/or Apex), integrations, and platform configuration, as well as the ability to deploy solutions and provide technical specifications to developers for scalable, high-quality implementations.Responsible for gathering, documenting, and translating system requirements for the different loan applications supporting the Loan Origination process, such as nCino, Document Management, Laserpro, Core banking systems and other platform integrations such as Mulesoft & Azure.
This role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) across multiple business units, including Frontline, Credit Risk, and Loan Operations, as well as external vendors to ensure system capabilities align with operational needs. This role combines both technical and operational expertise to support the end-to-end loan origination process. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external strategic partners, you will be expected to drive project success by leveraging your deep financial services knowledge, technical acumen, and business process optimization.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of nCino LOS solutions, ensuring best practices in architecture, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with integration teams to define data mapping, field transformations, and system connectivity between nCino, Salesforce, and external systems (e.g., MuleSoft, Core Banking).
- Create workflows, triggers, and page layouts to meet business requirements.
- Customize Salesforce applications, including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Configure and extend nCino applications for enhanced banking processes (preferred).
- Implement automation solutions (e.g., Salesforce Flows, OmniStudio) to improve process efficiency and user experience.
- Conduct data requirements analysis, defining data guardrails, controls, and data mapping across various templates, systems, and applications.
- Perform data migrations, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Assist in troubleshooting data integration issues, identifying inconsistencies, and working with developers to resolve them.
- Support ETL processes related to data migration, ensuring data integrity across nCino, Salesforce, and other banking systems.
- Partner with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to understand and document business requirements and process flows.Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Translate functional needs into scalable system configurations and technical documentation for enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance to developers, administrators, and stakeholders on nCino capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Assist in proactively identifying and mitigating potential downstream design challenges by leveraging deep knowledge of the nCino data model and automation points

- Conduct configuration validation, system testing, and data integrity checks.
- Assist in developing test scripts and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes for new system enhancements.
- Ensure all platform updates and enhancements align with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for custom development and integrations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, recommending improvements based on system capabilities and user feedback.
- Design scalable and efficient nCino solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Implement Salesforce development best practices and ensure scalability of solutions.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, optimizing, and supporting Salesforce and nCino solutions.
Strong understanding of Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Experience Cloud.
Deep knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security principles, role-based access controls, and object-level permissions.
Proficiency in Salesforce automations, including Flows, OmniStudio, Process Builder, and Validation Rules.
Experienced in configuring and customizing nCino for banking workflows, including Loan Origination, Credit Memo Processes, Document Management, and Loan Operations such as Documentation, Closing, Funding, Booking, and Post-Closing/Booking.
Experience mapping data flows and defining field transformations between nCino, Salesforce, and external platforms.
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and best practices for system interoperability (no direct API development required).
Proficiency in DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, or Copado.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes for Salesforce development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.
