Overview:

The Treasury Management Coordinator is responsible for performing various functions within the Treasury Management Group, including the review, implementation, setup, maintenance, and support of Treasury Management and Merchant Services products and related features. The role maintains strict security controls, follows segregation of duties and access requirements, and adheres to all Bank and departmental policies and procedures.

The role also supports new and existing Top Tier clients and assists the HOA team with Top Tier client servicing needs. The role serves as a servicing point of contact for Treasury Management matters, supports client onboarding and relationship maintenance activities, and proactively assists clients to promote retention, satisfaction, and a best-in-class client experience. The position also performs inbound and outbound client calls on a recorded line.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follows policies and procedures and exercises good judgment to ensure client privacy, Bank security, and fraud/loss prevention.
  • Assists supervisor in departmental cross-training when necessary and supports special projects or department tasks as directed.
  • Reviews Treasury Management Agreements to establish and perform accurate client access and setup for Treasury Management products and services according to required approvals, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively participates in the onboarding of new Top Tier clients and the addition of services for existing Top Tier clients, including those supported in partnership with the HOA team.
  • Supports the HOA team with Top Tier clients by assisting with servicing, setup, follow-up, troubleshooting, and client communication related to Treasury Management products and services.
  • Serves as a servicing point of contact for Treasury Management clients as assigned, maintaining knowledge of client relationships and service needs.
  • Required to assist with inbound and outbound client calls on a recorded line, including follow-up calls, service support, training coordination, troubleshooting, and client education.
  • Supports client retention and satisfaction by responding to client requests in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Proactively contacts clients as needed to provide service support and facilitate timely resolution of open items.
  • Maintains and performs accurate updates, temporary limit changes, service limit changes, and/or access changes for existing clients, including Top Tier clients, in accordance with approvals and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves Treasury Management issues by following all policies, procedures, and established processes.
  • Provides full customer support, including forgotten passwords, one-time passcodes or other security methods, installation and/or reinstallation of product software or device drivers, file testing assistance, client training, and related support across department contact points such as phone, email, KACE, and system platforms.
  • Tracks client issues through resolution and keeps appropriate internal partners informed.
  • Establishes and maintains customer setups, products, functions, and related investigations.
  • Maintains electronic files and documentation for client requests regarding Treasury Management.
  • Actively and accurately participates in product testing, implementations, conversions, and project-related activities as needed and required.
  • Provides onsite or verbal training, installation, and service support for Treasury Management products, including support for Top Tier clients as applicable.
  • Works with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Sales Officers to support client relationships, identify needs for additional Treasury Management services, and refer cross-selling opportunities as appropriate.
  • Continually communicates with Relationship Managers and/or Treasury Management Sales Officers regarding client activities, issues, and potential opportunities.
  • Participates in client visits, relationship reviews, and internal discussions as needed to support client experience and operational follow-through.
  • Identifies and assesses data attributes based on client needs and provides input regarding process improvements to support operational performance and departmental procedures.
  • Ensures client relationships are set up in Analysis composites accordingly, when applicable.
  • Ensures Treasury Management project-management-related activities are completed and executed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a high degree of accuracy while boarding account and customer information into various systems.
  • Maintains knowledge of compliance, risk, and banking regulations and maintains a high degree of confidentiality with customer information.
  • Communicates effectively within the department and with other departments at the Bank, fully understanding the importance of teamwork and communication.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years experience supporting or working in financial institutions lending department, treasury management department banking operations, or related field of expertise. Requiered 
  • 2-4 years  Treasury Management experience, including cash management products, systems, and client servicing. Preferred 
  • Knowledge of personal computer systems, banking operations, Treasury Management products, cash management products, and competitor offerings.
  • Strong working knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, and systems.
  • Knowledge of Treasury and cash management products, governing regulations, internal controls, audit requirements, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational, time management, analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced proficiency preferred based on assigned responsibilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal partners and external clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Strong technical skills to explain products and services to clients and assist with technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks and projects, and complete assignments within established procedures and standard business practices.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and a best-in-class client experience while handling client interactions on a recorded line.


Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Required
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Preferred
