Overview:

The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions to optimize Salesforce functionality and meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and implementation, preferably within the financial services industry. You’ll be closely working with Business & Systems Analysts, MuleSoft developers and other Technology & Marketing groups on daily basis. You will be a part of technical design sessions to develop & integrate technical solutions to best leverage Salesforce. Experience with nCino is a significant advantage.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Saleforce Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Create workflows, triggers, and page layouts to meet business requirements.

Customization & Configuration:

  • Customize Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Configure and extend nCino applications for enhanced banking processes (preferred).

Data Management: 

  • Perform data migrations, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Manage large datasets and optimize data architecture for performance.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to understand business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing.
  • Ensure deliverables meet established quality standards.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for custom development and integrations.

Performance Optimization:

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement Salesforce development best practices and ensure scalability of solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce data model and security principles.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware for system integrations.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, or Copado.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes for Salesforce development.
  • Familiarity with financial industry processes, workflows, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and customizing nCino solutions for banking.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
  • nCino Administrator or other relevant Salesforce certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field.
